My life has afforded me opportunities to embrace challenge and hard work and to experience the success from those efforts. My stamina for hard work developed with my passion for high school basketball. After my sophomore year, I was not sure if my career on the court would continue as my skills were not at the level the coach was demanding. So that summer I redesigned myself for the sport by losing more than 30 pounds and drastically improving my skills. With that effort, I was selected for the varsity team the next season, and by my senior year, I was the captain of one of the best high school teams in Indiana.In addition to honing my athletic skills, I became adept at managing time, a skill that served me well in my college career as a student manager for Indiana University’s men’s basketball team. That particular job made me a master of making every minute count as I was also a full-time student with a myriad of academic responsibilities. So managing the team duties while I managed my classwork commitments taught me to be efficient and effective.I began my professional career at Patrick Industries as an Operations Trainee within their Impact Program. This program helped mold my leadership qualities through different rotations. In the rotations, I learned about all aspects of the business including: environmental health and safety, finance, sales, and operations.Following this role, I worked at Patrick Industries as a Production Manager at one of our hardwood facilities. In this role, I oversaw the logistics of finishing all of our hardwood products to best serve our customer base. I was responsible for leading 75 team members and aligning them for success regarding their job expecations. With this, I had to effectively manage all business KPIs to ensure that projected outcomes were being achieved.In May of 2021, I joined the Jayco family. In my time with Jayco, I have been a part of the towable sales group. Most recently, I was promoted to the role of Regional Sales Manager of Canada for our Eagle, North Point, Pinnacle, and Seismic brands. I am grateful to work for a company that lives out the values that it speaks of; to name a few: God, family, respect, trust, and loyalty.Personally, nothing is more satisfying to me than to be able to help other people achieve success in their personal and professional lives. I look forward to continuing to impact others in a positive fashion.
