DCMA provides end-to-end contracting and technical services to the DoD and its partners. As the DCMA Milwaukee Deputy Director, I oversee operations covering the state of Wisconsin, as well as the UP of Michigan and NW Indiana.

Greater Milwaukee Area

Manages a team of engineers, industrial specialists, and program integrators responsible for major defense acquisition programs including the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV), Heavy & Medium Tactical Vehicles (FHTV, FHTV), HMMWV, and 40mm ammunition. Other contract responsibilities include Naval ship subsystems, military support vehicles, various spare parts, and clothing & textiles.

Greater Milwaukee Area

Leads a team of QA personnel located at DoD contractors located throughout the state of Wisconsin. Ensures the delivery of conforming products through inspection and strategic surveillance planning.

Regional (Wisconsin & the UP of Michigan) engineering representative for DoD buying commands, suppliers and contract administrators. Typical work revolves around engineering analysis, contractor capability analysis, change management and risk management.

• Developed and managed a configuration control system for a low-volume prototype manufacturing facility which produced $4.31M in goods in the past year• Led design and manufacturing efforts to reduce subassembly costs by 52% • Developed systems to automate change management, inspection, and testing, reducing the amount of user input required by over 50% • Collaborated with customers to develop design and manufacturing tolerances, balancing manufacturing process limitations and product performance requirements

• Developed and led test programs for weapons system performance. Projects consistently increased in scope and budget, totaling 16 projects and a budget of $1.86M in FY07 • Applied sophisticated instrumentation to capture a wide variety of data, tracking millions of data points per test to communicate results in a comprehensive, concise manner to customers and superiors• Designed data collection apparatus, high-velocity fragment mitigation structures, test fixtures and ordinance handling equipment for various testing expeditions• Within an Integrated Product Team (IPT), devised test and instrumentation plans and engineering procedures for multiple explosive operations and resulting test reports for customer presentation

• Designed the chassis and suspension for the 2001 – 2002 car and collaborated in fabrication• Directed the work of six project teams while overseeing team budget allocations
