As an Investment Director within Palatine’s Impact Fund, I focus on supporting businesses that are making a positive social or environmental difference.I enjoy working with management teams that are passionate about the positive social or environment impact their business has and who have a vision to increase the scale of this impact through focusing on the commerciality and growth of the business. I fundamentally believe that profit and purpose can go hand in hand, and I’m proud to be working with businesses that are really making a difference in the world.Through our Impact Fund we support companies across the four themes below, which we believe cover some of the biggest challenges we face as a society. These themes are aligned to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).- Sustainable communities - Healthy living - Environment and resources - Sustainable choices Within these themes I have a particular focus on the Education and Training sector, having sat on the board of Tradeskills4U and Inclusive Employers, with Palatine’s wider sector experience including investments in Back2Work and Estio Training.
