Worked with the Metric Geometry Gerrymandering Group (MIT/Tufts University) to develop faster, more efficient methods of generating districting plans using Monte-Carlo Markov Chains in Julia. Aided development on a Python package to perform ecological inference to understand group-level voting preferences.

As a member of the Index Gen & Web Data team in the AI+Research division, I worked to add natural language understanding to sentence and passage extraction from millions of web pages to build a robust question-answering system.

Member of Stanford's AI for Healthcare (AIHC) bootcamp, led by Prof. Andrew Ng. Students dive into cutting-edge research with medical imaging and Electronic Health Record data, working closely with Ph.D. students and each other. Developed a system to detect signs of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) from exams composed of a series of ultrasound images with a team of other researchers. Applied NLP to psychotherapy sessions to evaluate and discover traits of effective therapy practice.

Created an app to train medical students in cleft lip surgery for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia which is now going live in 60+ countries.Built a full-stack web app for a Wharton-based travel startup.Founded the Synapps Apprenticeship Program, which empowers youth developers for community development, enabling high school interns to both gain valuable work experience and serve their communities by creating websites for local organizations.

As a participant in the 2015 Simons Summer Research Program, I performed computational neuroscience research under Dr. Memming Park at the Computational and Theoretical Neural Information Processing Laboratory in the Department of Neurobiology and Behavior at Stony Brook University.
