- Spring 2019: Led team of six other undergraduate students to prepare vertical takeoff aircraft for AUVSI Student Unmanned Aerial Systems Competition tasks.- Fall 2018: Developed multi-rotor stability control algorithm to limit pendulum effect of a slung load.- Spring 2018: Analyzed and calculated ideal flight transition for vertical takeoff and tilt rotor airframe styles for the smoothest and most efficient in-flight transitions.- Fall 2017: Consolidated and simplified the Safety Switch code from a single code for each airframe style to one more concise code to accommodate all air frames as part of the Flight Control System for the UAV lab preventing unnecessary loss of plane in manual control if wrong code is loaded.- Spring 2017: Adapted previously built vertical takeoff aircraft style to a larger fixed-wing frame to fly in both horizontal and vertical styles in preparation for the AUVSI Student Unmanned Aerial Systems Competition, with our team achieving twelfth place out of over fifty teams.- Fall 2016: Served as group leader to first semester students in VIP to introduce them to all aspects of UAV Systems, including mechanical building, flight control system programming and lab flight simulators to help further their knowledge.- Spring 2016: Built first successful fixed-wing aircraft for vertical takeoff and performed detailed calculations to determine the ideal motor and propeller setup to deliver the required thrust.- Fall 2015: Worked with a senior mentor to learn how to program an Android app to monitor an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) from the ground control station.
