WHAT TYPE OF WORK DO I GET INVOLVED IN?My case load is varied but tends to include:- logistics agreements - sea, road, rail, air, inland waterways, multimodal, freight forwarding (3PL/4PL), NVOC, customs, warehousing, sustainability- port development and operations - concessions, management and commercial agreements for port and terminal services, port equipment supply and installation, stevedoring, marine services- commercial agreements, standard terms & conditions, advisory for services, agency, consultancy- corporate acquisitions, disposals and restructuring- joint ventures (corporate and operational) and shareholders' agreements- acting as an outsourced legal adviser for UK SME businesses I regularly speak at UK and international ports, shipping and logistics conferences and events, and am frequently featured in the trade press.WHERE DO MY CLIENTS COME FROM?Given the global nature of the ports, shipping and logistics industry, it will be no surprise that my clients come from all over the world, e.g. Scandinavia, The Netherlands, Switzerland, the UAE and of course, the UK.My clients include companies involved within ports and terminals, container and RoRo shipping industry, freight forwarders as well as blue chip retailers and consumer goods companies.
