Proven experience in American privacy research, charter school politics and functions, as well as special education pedagogy.After graduating from the University of California Santa Cruz, joined Teach For America—convinced that national service is a prerequisite for a healthy society, committing to a mission seeking to provide every child with a high quality education. In addition to teaching full-time at DC Prep, attended George Mason University earning a Masters in Special Education. Joined the founding team of DC Prep's Benning Middle Campus as the Special Education coordinator and served students, families and teachers of 4th-8th graders. At Blue Engine, I work with partner schools and districts in the Northeast Region, providing a combination of school-based and capacity building supports at a teacher, school-leader and district-leader level.
