Oversight of all fund development for CEO offices in New York City, the Bay Area, CA, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Harrisburg. The development role includes research, grant writing, and collaboration with program staff on outreach and engagement strategies. Funding sources include private foundations and government grants ranging from $25,000 to over $1M.

Maintain and manage the quality and integrity of the donor database (Raiser's Edge). Conduct prospect research and identify new funding opportunities. Research philanthropic and programmatic trends to inform funding requests. Assist in planning, preparation and submission of foundation and government grant proposals and reports.

Prospect research, organization and tracking of all incoming funds and outgoing proposals. Writing acknowledgment letters for received grants, and drafting correspondences. Applying for smaller, local grant funding. Assisting with City Council and Government funding as needed.

Editing and revising old applications for re-submission as well as contacting the foundations in efforts to get feedback and build connections. Research on key statistics for proposals, and supporting the Development Officer with any needed tasks.
