During my senior year, I will be working at the University of Notre Dame, specifically with Notre Dame International. I am excited for the opportunity to be working in this position again, and to gain meaningful insights and experience through my work.

As an intern in the OIT at the University of Notre Dame, I have learned Ruby on Rails and how to use it to upgrade tools and information in various ways needed. I also performed interviews to gather information regarding a tool proposal upgrade for developers to gauge interest and concerns with the potential new tool. I was also required to gather information via many campus partners in an attempt to understand the student experience better from the administration side of things. The goal was to propose suggestions to improve the student experience for the entirety of campus, in order to automate and make things more consistent for the student and administrators.

Post internship, I was hired on by a department manager to continue my hard work for the university. This position entailed updating and fixing data in an international employee database. I was then tasked with researching various QuickBook options for the Notre Dame International department, and then give my reccomendation based off of my research. I also had been tasked with creating an international Tableau dashboard to filter based on country, region and many other details alike. Through this experience I have gained many skills in Tableau, secure database networks and how to perform these duties.

As an intern in the OIT at the University of Notre Dame, I built a website that was designed to easily and more successfully guide students to the vast resources the University provides for mental and physical health. I also created a wellness tool via Qualtrics that is embedded in the website itself. This Qualtrics survey uses branch logic to direct the student to the correct resource based on their answers.

I was hired as one of the first two employees of Infinicore Technologies. It is a startup company by a professor in the Engineering and Biological Sciences department at Western Kentucky University. I was hired to draft and revise the business plan, which later got accepted by the head of the EBS department on campus. I created multiple social media sites for the company while also researching monetization methods and legality of ownership for the business.
