Responsible for the management of the club on a daily basis which involved controlling finances, insurance, risk assessment, health and safety and regularly updating equipment inventories and budget sheets.Managing the club’s profiles on social media and devising and hosting multiple PR events. Actively liaised and established rapport with the Reading University Students’ Union and successfully negotiated for increased funding to £3,500 (40% Increase). Took the initiative to find and recruit an experienced coach to improve the quality of training. Invested in higher quality equipment allowing for more participative sessions. The number of paid student members doubled in comparison to the previous year. Shortlisted for President of the Year at the Reading University Sports Awards 2015. The club competed in 18 matches a year and the men’s team came second in the Tier 1 League.
