A creative, progressive and delivery focused Data Engineer / Architect with 26+ years of IT experience.My career to date has spanned the government, corporate, private and not-for-profit sectors, highlighting my ability to adapt, innovate and deliver within a range of working environments.For more than 10 years, I have focused on end-to-end BI / DW solutions across a range of data platforms. Prior to this, I had 16+ years of delivering Web / Application Development Solutions (.NET, Sharepoint, architecture, and full SDLC). In my current role at South East Water, I am predominantly delivering large scale Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, and Front-End Solutions / visualisations using Kimball Dimensional Modelling, ETL / SSIS / SSAS / SSRS / tSQL, Power BI, Power Apps, Agile / SCRUM. I am also highly skilled in modern cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Data Lake, and Databricks, as well as IOT, Python, Sharepoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, real-time streaming, Tableau, Data factory, machine learning, Inmon modelling and DevOps / GitHub.With a strong stakeholder focus, I am highly competent and professional in eliciting requirements, communicating at all levels within an organisation, and extracting genuine value from data.I enjoy people management and have successfully mentored and overseen work output of colleagues, as well as creating opportunities to plan work and collaborate across platforms such as Teams.
