Even though this position did not last as long as I would have liked, I really enjoyed my time at Rivian. As a Field Specialist, my responsibilities included ensuring the proper paperwork was in place, delivering the vehicles, performing demo drives on-site at the service center or at-home, and training the customer on how to use their new, Technologically advanced, truck. During my time here, I also helped create a more fluid Pre-Delivery inspection process, helped create a Scout position to make sure customers were welcomed and placed with the appropriate department as well as alleviate the potential confusion new customers had with our Service Center, and was put in charge of the office functionality, submitting tickets, and following up with repairs and services. I also advocated for training on Scout roles and responsibilities, Pre-Delivery inspection training, and systems training. Unfortunately, my time here was cut short and I was unable to see these things come fully to fruition.
