About Matthew Laster
I'm an experienced Developer turned Entrepreneur turned IT Sales Professional. Carrying my engineer and developer mentality to IT Sales has allowed me to positively impact more people and the companies they work for than I ever thought possible.Started in the trenches as a NOC Tech and then Sys Admin, moved into development of mobile, rich web, and social applications, and lastly as one of the bleeding edge adopters of Big Data. Ran head-first into the muck and mire that is DevOps challenges while directing all social and web activity for the 2012 Democratic National Convention. From that, I decided AppDev wasn't for me. I took a role with BMC's Sales group and never looked back.Today, I use my DevOps "scars", and background (along with some pretty awesome technology...) to help my customers drive the cultural and process changes allowing them to meet the always changing needs of the Digital Enterprise.
