Accountable for the delivery of all aspects of the IT services and IT change programs for BIG W including BIG W technical Capital and Operational budgets.Member of the IT Executive Leadership team responsible for setting the direction of the Woolworths corporate IT function, and member of the BIG W senior leadership team responsible for setting and implementing business vision and strategy within the business.

Accountable for development of the vision for future state store technology across the entire Woolworths group (across all store formats/brands and 3000+ stores) identifying trends in customer usage of technology and aligning strategic IT delivery to these needs. Accountable for developing and maintaining a technology roadmap and plan for delivery that will support future expectations of our customers and the retail brands across in store and digital/online channels.

Deliver IT development, support and program office services for store systems across all Woolworths banners through leading a team of (100+) internal resources, and management and co-ordination of services from a number of offshore service providers.

Accountable for delivery of all IT system development and program office services for the BIG W business through leading a team of (100+) internal resources and additional offshore teams.Accountable for management of the BIG W program of work and Capital IT budget including facilitation of the BIG W steering committee for management of capital projects.Responsible for managing the relationship with corporate IT team to ensure corporate solutions satisfy BIG W requirements.

Everyday Money Credit card- Project managed the joint Woolworths / HSBC project to build and implement new Credit Card product, the scope of the role was to ensure the project delivered on both the commercial and technical requirements for both organisations.- The project was delivered on time and on budget and the credit card subsequently won a number of awards. Including Money Magazine’s 2009 Gold Medal, Best Innovative Product - Best of the Best Awards.Woolworths Financial Switch - Project manage the implementation of a payments Switch in the Woolworths environment including, design and build of the technical environment at Woolworths and interchange links with other financial institutions and design and build of the business and technical operational teams that would support the environment ongoing.- The project was delivered in a timeframe that was considered impossible within the industry and has enabled the business to realise the benefits more quickly than originally anticipated.Point Of Sale hardware and software upgrade for BIG W- End to end responsibility for the project, from building business case and selecting the solution through to implementation and operational training and acceptance.- The project was delivered on time and ahead of budget with numerous additional benefits identified and realised through implementation.Implementation of Self Checkouts in BIG W- End to end responsibility for implementation of Self Checkouts into BIG W Stores, including technical design/build, physical store construction, management of changes to employee awards and operationalisation of proof of concept through to rollout- Project ensured that BIG W was the first retailer in Australia to implement self checkouts
