Having the exciting invitation to return to the Lexus family after 15 years, I am enjoying the opportunity to once again oversee many of the aspects — both technical and functional — of constructing a state-of-the-art luxury facility from the ground up.With this comes the additional responsibility of guiding the organization through the migration from a number of older technologies into an IT environment designed for high performance productivity, security, and stability.As our organization enters a new era in a beautiful new home, I will be introducing innovative new ways of interacting with our Lexus family and developing engaging experiences that continue to elevate the Lexus and Shottenkirk brands.

I was invited to rejoin the Intelesys team to lead the renewed focus on developing the managed IT services offering for the public and private sectors. This presented an incredible opportunity to work alongside some amazing government and K-12 education institutions to develop and improve their use of technology.By putting highly-intentional effort into the design of network infrastructure, VoIP communications, and operational standards - and keeping both security and performance at the forefront - our team provided solutions that created an immediately-apparent positive impact on a number of city governments, school districts, and even private enterprises.As the Senior Advisor for Government & Education, my responsibilities spanned the full spectrum of the client relationship to develop a seamless offering and a model to build from. My responsibilities and day-to-day activities included: • New client acquisitions through RFP responses and the development of winning solution proposals between $500,000 and $1 million in scope • Project management, often under strict or expedited timeframes • Technical implementation, as the hands-on architect and installer of new technologies • Client education, conducting training on a variety of content, including security, safe computing, communications, and more • Internal development of new offerings designed to meet the evolving needs of our clientsIn addition, I was responsible for a number of special projects including (again) implementing the organization's new brand image as we solidified our identify as a specialized solution provider for the public sector market.

My primary drive at Proactive Networks was to ensure that we were building a team -- backed by highly refined processes and tools -- that could provide the best experience to the clients we supported. I was able to accomplish this by creating a shared focus on "people first, technology second."Through the implementation of best-practice methods, collaboration with like-minded technology providers across the nation, close partnerships with world-class vendors, and the implementation of some of the best tools available, our team was able to deliver results to our clients that left a lasting "wow" impression.

Asked to lead Hillside's production team through the course of finding and transitioning to a new permanent Technical Arts Director, the opportunity required that, in addition to continuing as Live Video Director, I also fulfill the needs of stage design, visual graphics, creative media, and lighting design and programming.I had the pleasure of leading an incredibly talented team of 40, rotating into 11 technical positions that included 4 camera operators, for more than 300 live productions.To streamline efforts among the production and worship teams, I introduced the Planning Center platform and was responsible for ensuring it was fully implemented and customized to our needs. This adoption of this platform has since expanded beyond these initial teams into all areas of ministry at Hillside.During my time in this position, I coordinated the largest volunteer recruitment effort following the production ministry's inception, increasing our team by 50%. In response to the incredible recruiting success, I developed a training program focusing ramping up various positions within the team, including camera operator, lighting engineer, graphics operator, video shader, video switcher, and assistant director. During this time, I also trained three additional video directors to spread the creative output among others on the team.

I was charged with the responsibility of using my experience to develop, from conception, the managed services arm of the organization. Through this process, we evolved the identity of the company from Intelesys Communications to IntelesysOne to reflect the expanded solutions we were able to offer our clients. During my initial tenure at IntelesysOne, the managed services offering was launched and we established our initial base of clients in a MRR relationship.

Key Accomplishments: - Founded and operated a technology management firm - Pioneer of fixed-fee all-inclusive managed IT solutions for small and medium businessesRealizing a strong and emerging need in the market for dependable and skilled IT support aligned with predictability and accountability, I and a partner took advantage of the opportunity to build an organization aimed at delivering solutions in a way that wasn't currently offered. At a time when the vast majority of IT service providers were charging clients based on time spent, our goal was to provide our clients with a solution based, instead, on results. Synduit was among the early pioneers of all-inclusive managed support for the small and medium business markets, which has since become the standard for managed service providers worldwide.

Key Accomplishments: - In the first 2 months I generated $95,000 of recurring annual savings for the company - Fully replaced aging network with a state-of-the-art onsite private datacenter in 6 monthsAs the first individual to serve in this role, I initially developed the responsibilities and expectations for the position. Having been introduced into an aging technology environment, I analyzed all areas in which the organization required improvement for the sake of bringing the IT infrastructure up to date to meeting the business' future ongoing goals.In response to these needs, I designed and installed, from the ground up, an entirely new network backbone (including over 350 copper and fiber runs to locations throughout 2 buildings, and a new local datacenter including 4 rack enclosures, power conditioning and backup, 6 virtual host servers, routing and switching, audio/video distribution, and centralized management). I implemented new telecommunications systems to streamline usage and introduce new efficiencies.Through these efforts and the consolidation of services, I delivered immediate savings to the organization of $95,000 annually, with a total project ROI of 11 months.

Awarded both Lexus Senior and Lexus Master Certifications.Acted as a key advisor in the construction of the “global flagship” of Lexus dealerships.Responsible for the design and management of infrastructure, information integrity and security, A/V distribution, and telecom.Produced media for identity and marketing.

• Support an AS/400-based architecture while introducing the first Windows-based PCs into the environment• Oversee the conversion of an entirely twinaxial network into a 100% Ethernet network• Introduce the first "always-on" Internet connection into the organization, and facilitated the move from legacy satellite communications with national headquarters to a purely Internet-based solution.• Oversaw the IT aspects of a $4 million remodel that included a $1 million technology overhaul, bringing a PC to every desk, implementing Active Directory, and converting the CRM from TDN to UCS in the course of 6 months.• Responsible for the implementation of a new digital PBX phone system and PRI carrier services, migrating from a legacy key system and analog trunks.
