Over 300 Million people visit National parks every year. That means there are 300 Million sets of footprints, 300 Million visits to restrooms, and 300 Million people creating trash. I am fascinated with the National Parks System not only for the stunning landscapes but for the intricate inner workings that allow them to operate. My experiences have taught me how to lead small groups in complex tasks, problem-solve with minimal guidance and use forethought when planning projects. I am a Southern Illinois University graduate with a B.S in Forestry and Park Management. While attending SIU I was an active member of the Society of American Foresters. I chose the Forestry and Park Management Bachelors because it was a comprehensive degree that taught me vital management and leadership skills. I was placed in real-world situations that allowed me to step outside my comfort zone and grow.I currently work as an Apprentice Plumber in the Denver Metropolitan Area. I am actively searching for work in the Forestry and Sales fields throughout the Denver Metropolitan Area.
