Everest Mechanical is a HVAC and Plumbing business that is in the process of aggregating smaller HVAC and Plumbing businesses in Colorado in order to create efficiencies and synergies in the business allowing for the better leveraging of opportunities in the space. The role is very hands on, dynamic and involved which makes it very interesting especially when working on systematizing the various processes inherent to the business in order to move it forward.

Established in Dec 2009 in Singapore and in November 2010 in India. The business is focused in the Infrastructure and Financial sectors in and, outside India. Extensive field visits to multiple infrastructure projects in India, including Ports, Military Installations, Power Plants and Refineries. Developed and forged very strong relationships in industry and government as an ongoing part of building and developing the business. Analyze deals in the Indian and overseas markets that require funding where proof of concept is established and the funding and involvement act as a bridge to larger institutional funding – sectors include, logistics, agriculture and technology. Have had successfully deal closure with a strong repeatable track of success including significant multiple uptics into subsequent funding rounds.  Created detailed project, investment and partnership reports for projects including a Ropeway Project for the Government of Manipur, an International School in Punjab, a hotel project in Rajasthan, a large coal mining concession in Yakutsk, Russia, Defense joint ventures in India with Slovak vendors and various other projects Advised and worked on several financial deals in India, Russia and Indonesia on Coal, Iron Ore and other commodities for mining and concessions. Analyzed transactions for purchase and offtake in various commodities, including coal mines, Iron Ore, Oil and other commodities

Publically listed company in Singapore in the paper pulp sector, with a market cap of approximately SGD 300 million. Member of the Audit and Remuneration Committee and Chair of the Nominating Committee of the company. Help to provide entrepreneurial leadership, strategy, guidance and to ensure corporate governance and compliance is adhered to and obligations to shareholders and others are met and conformed with.  Closely working with Management to undertake and complete a RTO with GEMS, Indonesia’s fifth largest coal miner.

Created and built a very successful and profitable business in Asia for the Group including set up, marketing and running a new Asian Volatility Fund. Maintained strong performance in all years across funds and particularly in 2008 when all funds were up over 20%+ with a high degree of liquidity in a very challenging trading environment. Managed and traded on Funds including one that won the Euro Hedge Award for Volatility Fund of the Year for 2008  Oversaw with two other managers, total AUM for the platform in excess of USD 500MM. All funds were managed with a high degree transparency and liquidity; all programs could be unwound and in cash within 24 hours Launched the first Asian Fund off of the platform in March 2008, The Pan Asia Short Bias Fund, a volatility based short bias fund that demonstrated strong positive performance (20%+ during the 2008 Crisis)

Was one of two founding partners of Aman Capital in 2003. Conceptualized, developed and implemented the business plan and marketed to investors raising USD 20MM in day one and reaching USD 300MM within 6 months. Absolute return global macro strategy based on top down fundamental analysis and high liquidity. Strategy involved identifying global themes and catalysts with an Asian twist and resultant trends and inflection points. Was involved in all aspects of set up and management including development of product concept, investment process and strategy, risk guidelines, selection and negotiation of service providers and legal counsel, marketing, manager budgeting and planning and overall business management. Actively on the portfolio on a macro basis with positive returns including 10%+ of the fund performance in 2004 Managed risk allocation across traders and expanded the team from 3 to 5 traders resulting in a 10+ person team Implemented a very high end risk and trading system- Sunguard for the fund which required a lot of back testing and ground work. Reviewed P/L’s and risk on a daily basis at the trader and fund level and assisted with marketing the fund and increasing its asset base  Involved with trading Asian and Global FX, Fixed Income, macro commodities and equity indices with majority of my risk focused on FX with extensive use of derivatives  Played the lead role in new product development and launched the first Singapore based Indian Real Estate Fund- Millennium Spire Ltd.  Joined the Hedge Fund coverage team in London to help expand platform that had been successfully implemented on the Fixed Income side to the Foreign Exchange group with a specific focus on increasing coverage expertise and flow on FX options. Added several new clients and trading relationships to the FX group through personal network.

Collaborated with the G-7 Foreign Exchange and the Emerging Markets Groups with a dual mandate to proprietary trade and to integrate and create synergies between the two businesses from an information flow, idea generation and client trading perspective across both, products and time zones. Trading included position taking in the G-7 and LATAM Foreign Exchange markets, providing liquidity for Asian FX during New York time zone and proprietary trading and market making on forwards and short term interest rate products Represented the Foreign Exchange Group at weekly fixed income sales and trading meetings with trade ideas and general market flow from the foreign exchange business

Completed the Salomon Brothers training program in New York in July 1993. Built analytical and risk management tools using Salomon’s proprietary trading and arbitrage desk technology.
