I am a trial attorney serving the needs of my clients in the construction, real estate and general business arenas. I have extensive experience in all phases of construction and real estate matters, from contract negotiation through litigation and resolution, including trial and settlement.I am a lifelong Bay Area local, growing up in Santa Cruz and graduating from the University of California at Berkeley and Santa Clara University School of Law. I am proud of the opportunity and success I have been able to achieve for my clients throughout the Bay Area and beyond. A significant portion of my practice focuses on construction related disputes. My clients include property owners, prime contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, architects, engineers, and bonding companies. I represent construction clients in contract drafting and negotiation, collection matters, complex, multi-party construction defect litigation and large scale public works claims. I also regularly represent clients prosecuting and defending mechanics’ liens, stop notices and bond claims on public and private projects. I also have extensive experience addressing real estate disputes. I obtained my real estate broker license in 2006 and I use my legal skills and first hand real estate experience in a variety of real estate related disputes, including tenant improvement projects and litigation related to breaches of real estate purchase agreements.
