In this time I managed a team that grew from 5 people to over 40, split across the UK & US, and I was ultimately responsible for our £100m P&L. During this time I was part of several major acquisitions, and directly responsible for leading the eCommerce integration and roll out of our strategy across these brands.My role was split across five main areas:- P&L and Strategy Lead: I directly managed our full P&L and had overall responsibility for our eCommerce strategy, with the goal of significantly growing and diversifying affiliate revenues.- Commercial Management: I directly oversaw our largest commercial relationships, such as Amazon, as well as managing a large team of Account Managers and sales support staff. - Trading: I led a team of Data Analysts to manage eCommerce performance across our sites. We used in depth reporting and insight to drive growth and improvements at a page, geography, retailer and site level. - Product Development: I was responsible for driving improvements in our eCommerce tech stack, managing a team of product managers to do so. This included development of our propriety price comparison software, Hawk, and I also led on a number of key initiatives including social eCommerce, video eCommerce and on-site shopping. - eCommerce Editorial: I worked with Brand Directors & Editors across all of Future's sites to help craft their commerce content strategy, teaching how to write commerce content, and helping optimise SEO. I also led the strategy for key trading events inc. Black Friday & Amazon Prime Day. -
