I love helping people get the most from their visits to London and England and showing them secret and unusual places as well as the traditional popular sites. As a former farmer in western England I also love guiding outside of London in places like Bath, Cambridge, Canterbury, Cotswolds, Devon, Herefordshire, Kent, Oxford, Salisbury, Stonehenge Stratford upon Avon , Winchester and Windsor.I’m happy guiding from intimate groups on bespoke walking tours in town or country, right through to coach tours and even do ski guiding for those into winter sports! My police Sergeant role in Westminster since 2007 means you can rest assured you will be in safe hands, fully first aid and safety trained. I can share many stories of my time on the beat, including policing Royal Weddings, meeting Prime Ministers, sneaking a prince out of a nightclub and escorting Michael Jackson from a theatre. My interests are very wide including: genealogy, researching family history (including our own back to 1040 in Herefordshire, including Welsh rebel Prince Owain Glendower, who’s wife, my 17th great grandma, died as a prisoner in the Tower of London) gardens, history, architecture, food & drink, literature and theatre, music and royalty. So join me to explore London and England and unwrap the rich history through to the modern day mosaic of cultures . Let me help you make your stay truly unforgettable.Whatever your interests I guarantee that I will enjoy tailoring tours to fit in with your interests and passions to ensure you get the most from your visits.Walking Tours:Some of my ready-made tours include Smithfield Market (6:30am weekdays), City of London highlights , student insights to Oxford and Cambridge, Cotswolds rambles, city highlights in Bath, Canterbury, Hereford, Salisbury, Stratford upon Avon, Winchester and Windsor, Royal Westminster and On the Beat, patrolling Soho and Westminster.Cycling and skiing tours also available. In my spare time I enjoy running, gardening, genealogy, exploring and policing.

Senior Parliamentary Adviser
Nuffield Scholar
http://www.nuffieldscholar.org/My Nuffield study topic of ‘Influencing agricultural policy : a global perspective’ is a comparison of global best practice in lobbying and the opportunity for a discussion on the political context in which these policies lie, from the EU CAP and reform, the US Presidential election, to developing and emerging countries in Asia and Africa through to the export dominated ‘New World’ countries of Australia, New Zealand, Canada and South America. My ultimate aim was to bring together best practice in lobbying in a user-friendly way and disseminate it to farmers in order to best get their views and voice heard.
