Performed sales functions in CA, AZ, NV, NM, UT, CO for Specialized Division (open equipment). Had reintroduced Specialized fleet to West Coast after their 5 year absence in this market area. Was involved in several large projects which included plant relocations for Nabisco, Del Monte, Procter & Gamble, and Lever Brothers, as well import project moving all of the steel for the roof at Miller Park (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries), Milwaukee, WI. 750+ load project from Port of Long Beach, CA. Was laid off after I had moved to Colorado in 1999 and SSC downsized fleet from 950 to less than 400 trucks.

Established sales area for J.B.Hunt's Flatbed Division in the South and Southwest regions of the U.S., Growing revenue from less than $250,000.00 to over $10,000,000.00 in revenue in 2 years. Had transferred into this Division when we had only 70 tractors and roughly 100 trailers in the fleet and saw it grow to over 300 tractors and nearly 500 trailers in that time

Was the 2nd Sales person they had in Southern CA for dry van operation. Performed sales and developed customer base in portions of SCA, AZ, & S NV, S UT. Was also one fo the original sales contacts for start up intermodal operation, Quantum. Santa Fe partnership. Transferred to Memphis, TN in late 1990 to become Reg'l Mgr for developing Flatbed Division. Developed customer base for TX,TN,MS,KS,MO,AR,OK which grew to $10M in less than 2 years. Asked to move to Northeast to develop that region but left company to return to Memphis due to personal reasons.
