- Started at the Trust as a Waterway Operative, working primarily on water management and working on minor repairs to the Canal infrastructure.- Currently working as a Volunteer Team leader I organise and lead Volunteer Sessions, those who support the Canal and River Trust in maintaining assets and keeping the canal in effective working order. - Undertake key duties associated with the maintenance of the waterway and waterside assets. Including inspections of reservoirs and locks (Level 2 Confined Spaces trained).- Protecting the natural and historic environment associated with the waterways.- I have recently been selected for a menteeship role at the Trust, working with a fantastic mentor to increase my skills and knowledge.

-Tutoring a group of young adults with SEN needs at The Calico Group in Burnley. -Support interns to gain and sustain meaningful paid employment.-Support the workplace managers in providing internships in a range of sectors including maintenance, administration, rehabilitation, marketing amongst others.-Teaching and guiding the learners over an academic year, covering topics relating to personal, social and work skills.

As a learning support assistant I aid those students who are struggling in their academic work. I work within an array of subjects and with many different students.Acting as tutor to young learners with special educational needs on the Supported Internship program, including working with a local community allotment and the local parks and recreation services.

On a casual basis I ran a small community gym helping customers achieve their fitness goals

I have worked for this company throughout my further education on a weekly basis. My responsibilities here included to manage and supervise car parks used by players, fans and executives alike at events. As a reward for the professional and reliable running of the car park I was promoted to work for the traffic management team. This team is tasked with the closing of roads and the organising of diversion routes, thus keeping spectators safe and traffic flowing.
