Team managerI built on my strong interpersonal skills in this role and found I had a flair for people management, developing 14 individuals of differing abilities and backgrounds into a cohesive team with a common purpose.I worked hard to develop tailored coaching sessions with each individual, so they were able to effectively balance exceptional customer service with meeting and exceeding evolving KPI structures. Personal development is another of my key focus’s, how can people not only improve in their current role, but what do they need to be doing to push on with their own career. The more they get from me, the more they will give you. This led to over 50% of the team that I took over, progressing within year of my appointment.My team wasn’t my only focus and I had a big impact on the site as a whole, implementing and developing a monthly awards ceremony for the 300 strong department where getting results in the right way is celebrated and best practice is shared. This led to increased customer satisfaction in a difficult time where call wait times where rapidly increasing due to a range of external factors.
