I manage Beca's Quickbase service offering which I have grown from it's humble beginnings in 2015 as a Shutdown Management tool with 20 users to what is now our tool of choice for any large project or program within Industrial as well as bespoke applications throughout Beca with now over 2000 users. I attribute my success in this space to my deep understanding of the needs of each application, firstly through my real-world experience of having desired these applications in my past, and more recently, my approach to discovering what is needed with key stakeholders.My role involves liaising with both external and internal 'clients' and guiding a large team of part-time business developers to create solutions that add real value to the work we do.

Job prioritisation, job planning, job engineering, contractor management, cost control, and execution supervision for the major shutdowns. Additionally, detailed engineering studies of plant equipment were required to determine the remaining life expectancy based on historical data.As part of my role with Nyrstar, I was responsible for setting up the systems and templates to manage the shutdowns, including job method sheets, bills of material, job packs, automated timesheeting, pre-shut cost estimation, daily cost forecasting during the shutdowns, post-shut cost analysis and all execution templates.
