My wife Suzie and I along with five other brave souls founded Good News Church in 1995. GNC is a non-denominational Christian church. We are a bible believing Spirit filled church. We are interracial which is unusual for Augusta, GA. We place a lot of emphasis on the believers doing the work of the ministry. Every believer has been given the ministry of reconciliation. All are ambassadors for Christ. The day of the five-fold ministers as the only ones qualified to do ministry are over. Every believer has a part to play in what God is doing in the earth. We want to reach people with the Gospel (the power of God unto salvation) and help turn those new believers into disciples who in turn reach their world with the Good News. The believers of Good News Church have won over 20,000 people to Jesus over the last ten years in the Augusta area. It is not about building up our ministry. It is about building up the Body of Christ. It is about His Kingdom and not our kingdom. I am excited about the future of the Church.
