I have produced multiple shows across BBC Radio1, 1Xtra and The Asian Network including The Radio 1 Residency, The Asian Network Residency, Jamz Supernova, Nadia Jae, Kenny Allstar, Kan D Man & DJ Limelight and plus The 1Xtra Residency of which the show won ‘UK Entertainment Awards Best Radio Show 2019’. I currently produce two weekly shows for The BBC Asian Network covering Grime, Drill, Rap, Afrobeats, R&B, Dancehall & Desi and UK Asian Rap.I drive the editorial direction for the shows developing multi-platform audio and video ideas from brief to execution on-air, on YouTube and on social media, alongside technically producing multiple shows weekly, both live and pre-produced. I source and curate new music, build relationships with artists and their teams and break new artists. I manage and develop presenter talent, identifying key tastemakers within UK scenes and giving them a platform to reach nationwide audiences. In working for an independent production company, I am also managing the client relationship with BBC on a daily basis as well as relationships with a number of stakeholders across the organisation to ensure my show editorial is communicated across the networks and the artists we are supporting are penetrating across the schedule.
