Functions of the role include:New product introduction (Including commercial review)New supplier introduction (Including commercial review)Design and value engineering of new and existing products Supplier framework pricing agreementsGeneration of sales drawings, presentations and sales toolsBOQ/BOM generation for projects & productsDevelopment and employment of technical drawings and technical libraryProduct literature generationIncreasing profit marginsIncreasing product & service salesDesign & Technical consultation Total system designIndepth Regulatory & Recommendatory knowledge Extensive design & product experience with Medical IT Systems (IPS) including ATS's and Class II surge protection, UPS Systems, Earthing, Surgeon’s Control Panels, PACS, Medical Lighting & BBup Systems, Medical Service Pendants and Ultra Clean Ventilation Systems for Group 2 (BS7671:2015) / Grade A (HTM06_01:2017) medical locations including; Operating Theatres & Alll ITU, CICU, CCU, NICU, PICU, HDU & SCBU.I have been tasked with the responsibility of reviewing the current products/data and technical functions. This is not only to augment and enhance the existing product range but also to implement new and enhanced developments to provide the business with a full complement of products, technical and sales tools. I have driven down manufacturing and supplier costs while maintaining product reliability, quality and delivery, while bringing efficiency and effectiveness to the bussiness. This has been achieved be introducing supplier framework agreements, value engineering existing products and introducing new suppliers. All of the new tools and expertise are used in driving sales, with recent success in both domestic and International markets. My expertise has also brought additional service contracts.
