Prepare weekly/daily cash forecasting for the Treasury Department. This includes periodic upgrades to current reporting tool as well as building supplemental tools to ensure accuracy of data.Provide upper management with historical and forecast financial data upon request to assist in making business decisions.Build and maintain a database to track all Vendor claims and disputes. Some functions necessary for the database include multiple user access simultaneously, reporting functions, basic data entry, etc.Analyze, prepare, route and report all claims and disputes that are initiated in the Trade Department. This includes, but is not limited to working with the Trade Payables, Merchants, Inventory Control, Logistics and Transportation Departments.Support Correspondence team with processes and procedures. Assist Management with training development, feedback and support to staff on ways to identify trends, and resolve outstanding vendor issues.Handle all aspects of debit balances, including monthly reconciliations. Partner with merchants and other departments to resolve vendor issues. Mitigate debit balances by building database tools and running weekly reports to analyze vendor accounts and provide these reports upper management. Work and build relationships with vendors to minimize the companies debit balance.Work and maintain (includes, but is not limited to); escheatment, discount paid in error, distribution errors, audit requests, fill rate, buyer holds.Complete the month end close process for Trade Payables in JDA and Lawson. Complete associated account reconciliations and reports for upper management.

Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local firearm regulations. Maintain and analyze data in the Firearms Inventory Tracking System (FITS) for compliance. Support for field management, auditors, stores, and Distribution Centers with FITS related questions and issues. Ensure continuance of goodwill and open lines of communication established with the BATFE, California DOJ, FBI, and any other key agencies within the firearms industry. Coordinate and report results of monthly firearm inventories and assist in reconciling annual physical inventory to assure FITS matches the perpetual system. Analyze and reconcile daily reports for stores/Distribution Centers and report non-compliance to the appropriate department within the company. Perform traces for BATFE within the required 24 hours. Act as a resource for the buying team to determine if merchandise such as knives, archery, paintball/air guns, and pepper spray/mace can be sold in the desired locations.Create and maintain databases and queries to monitor and find any inconsistencies within FITS. Conduct training presentations for both large and small groups on company policies, BATFE, and state regulations and processes regarding firearms.Develop and maintain firearm training/communications for Stores and DC’s using multimedia platforms which include the Learning Module System, training guides and monthly firearm newsletter.Maintain and track all federal, state, company, manufacturer, and vendor firearm licenses.
