My name is Matthias and I am the Client Manager at Curve Royalty Systems. We offer a cloud based royalty accounting system, providing a scalable modern day solution for record labels, publishers, distributors and DSPs in the music industry. My role is to help clients in their on-boarding process and generally make them successful on our platform. My first contact with Curve was during my previous job role at Hospital Records, who were one of the first clients to on-board Curve Royalty Systems. Whilst running Hospital's publishing department and royalty accounting process, I first handedly experienced the exceptional impact Curve had on our infrastructure. Curve Royalty Systems are fast, simple, flexible and offer great transparency of data to our clients and their artists. A little bit about myself. I was born in Ghent in 1994. I obtained a master's degree in business economics at Ghent University and speak fluent Dutch and English. During my student years I expressed a keen interest in the music industry and established my record label, Limitless Recordings, and music promotions brand, LiquidMusick; which gained an online following of over 75k people and 15m online hits. I moved to London to work at Hospital Records straight after finishing my degree. My background in business economics came in ever handy with the growing need for data management within the music industry's streaming era. My report on streaming services' struggling financial viability won the Popthesis award and became the understructure for multiple news articles during Spotify's IPO.
