Consultant at the Real Estate Valuation department of Ortec Finance. Activities include conducting research on the effects of climate risks on property valuations.

My master thesis at the Erasmus University Rotterdam is conducted in collaboration with Ortec Finance. The research concerned itself with the price effects of climate risks on real estate valuation, which I performed in the Real Estate Valuation team. The master thesis was awarded with an 8.5.

Next to my thesis internship I also worked part-time at the Insurance Strategies team of Ortec Finance.

As a consultant, I offered guidance to large public clients with audits, evaluations, and technical advice. Notable projects I contributed to include providing technical advice on the design philosophy for the impact of wave loads on bridges, conducting an audit on the investment strategy for a drinking water company, and assessing the crosswind safety on the Dutch high-speed railway.

My master thesis at the TU Delft is conducted in collaboration with HKV Lijn in Water. The research concerned itself with the quantification of risk preferences in Flood Risk management and the subsequent use of these preferences in a re-evaluation of the existing flood safety standards in the Netherlands. The master thesis was awarded with a 9.0.

As part of the probability section within Hydraulic Engineering I was responsible for creating python-based lecture material on advanced topics in probability and statistics.

During my Civil Engineering programme I was in charge of operating the faculty bar together with seven fellow students. As president I was responsible for smooth operations within the board as well as with external parties. Next to this I was also responsible for the inventory of the bar.

During my employment at Lyceo and Inwijs, I had multiple roles. Some of these roles include homework tutor, exam trainer and supervisor for various 'catch-up' courses. For this work, didactic, social and inquisitive qualities are a necessity.
