Responsible for the events programme and venue sales business for a group of ten racecourses. These included; Newcastle, Uttoxeter, Bath, Brighton and Fontwell Park racecourses.This role incorporated all aspects of event management as well as; product development, contract negotiation, licensing, marketing, non-raceday ROI and staff development.In addition to driving traditional venue hire sales such as conferences, DDR, public events and site tenancies, we also developed a broad range of in-house events including successful firework displays, concerts, mass participation events and themed Christmas parties.

Brighton Racecourse operated 23 race meeting and hosted well over 800 non-raceday events each year.Responsible for the management and leadership of a team of 25 people, divided in to sales, marketing, site, and finance departments.
