Four years as a Service Designer at KONE have been incredible! Being thrown straight into the deep end with KONE Major Projects during Covid certainly made me cringe at times. Still, collaboration with colleagues has made work at KONE fun and inspiring. I enjoy advocating for design and proving its value with results backed by data. I’ve worked on various projects that cover most of our business lines. Currently, I’m working on the Win Residential and Drive Modernization projects, which are at the core of our recently released strategy.What did I learn from the hospitality business? I oversaw many daily operations, from customer service and business planning to safety protocols. Leading people in a busy environment proved that I can keep my composure under stress and foster positivity within the team. Building a small cycling business from the ground up allowed me to innovate in customer service, brand management, and digital presence. My expertise spans internet marketing and SEO, which have been both challenging and rewarding. Additionally, I co-led the Nordic Gravel Series, promoting Finland as a premier cycling destination.
