As R&D and automation specialist I have been improving Microsynth’s highly automated pipelines by leading and executing projects linking databases, Tecan pipetting stations and the wet lab. My work increased the quality and reduced operational costs. In detail my tasks included:- Programming, mainly in Python 3 but also some visual basic, for data processing, the generation of pipetting schemes and various laboratory-related purposes- Project management for R&D and database upgrades- Coordination of projects with external institutes and companies- Quality assurance, programming and optimization of Tecan liquid handling stations- Creation of documents for installation, operational and performance qualification (IQ, OQ, PQ) for lab equipment, and processes validation- Coordination and realization laboratory experiments in the molecular biology field
