I connect the climate science done at Woodwell with global policy conversations, thus enhancing the scientific basis of of climate policies. Previously I worked for 15 years with the global climate negotiations, supporting the efforts of governments to develop landmark instruments, such as the Paris Agreement, to strengthen the international response to climate change. In addition, my consultancy work has focused on climate-security, climate change adaptation, and carbon border adjustments. I completed my PhD in October 2022, and my book "Climate Security: the Role of Knowledge and Scientific Resources in the Making of a Nexus" was published by Routledge Inc. in November 2023. I have a Master’s degree in international relations from the Ludwig-Maximilian-University of Munich.
