Establish systems and manage resources to produce web based and mobile software for a variety of clients across a number of industries. Resource team consists of graphic/web designers, software developers and account executives.Full responsibilities include:- Schedule and engage in stakeholder interviews to learn essential requirements and business objectives/rules.- Develop written requirements/user stories and technical wire-frames based on feedback from key stakeholders.- Act as sole point of contact for clients, responsible for insuring that the software is meeting their business objectives while translating development challenges and risks (as well as impact) from the development team back to the client.- Preform technical studies to determine the appropriate use of technology on a project by project basis.- Build and manage timelines and budgets of web based (.NET/PHP) and native (Android/iOS) development teams through the product development lifecycle.- Maintain weekly budget, progress, and time reports (which are communicated both internally to the development team, as well as the client).- Run daily stand-ups- Set-up development and deployment environments- Develop and execution of QA plans- Manage Product deployment and roll-outs- Schedule and lead all training sessions for completed software projects- Manage post-production issues

Tekquote was a web-based health insurance quoting program designed to help health insurance brokers generate leads.We hosted custom websites for brokers which allowed their visitors to browse health insurance quotes based on a number of variables such as age, zip code and family size. We worked with health insurance companies across the country, including BlueCross, HealthNet, Cigna, Aetna and UnitedHealth Care to populate Tekquote with the most up-to-date prices nationwide.I managed and maintained our Linux based production environment in addition to providing support for our broker customers and health insurance partners. After 3 years in business and modest success in regards to the recurring revenue we generated, my two partners and I decided to shut down Tekquote due to increasing competition and lack of resources to keep pace with the rest of the market. Nevertheless, it was a pretty awesome ride - and we learned a ton about SaaS economics.
