Many times addicts and alcoholics have a great deal of remorse and guilt. Often times there may be decades of bottled up feelings, regrets and emotions. No one generally “gets” an addict. Not many are well versed and understand the torment an addict goes through in battling addiction. At Ask An Addict there are many opportunities to get these things off one’s chest which can be very cathartic for the addict and build a stronger foundation in recovery.This site is intended to provide support, help via the many rehab facilities on their directory and advice in a non-judgmental way so that the addict or family member can be made to feel there are many who understand and eliminate the feeling of being alone.
