Current• Awarded Teacher of the Year for the 2021-2022 school year• Actively learn about/listen to student & parent needs, interests, and concerns to form meaningful relationships, build trust within the community, and to proactively devise strategies that ensure their success• Work collaboratively to efficiently plan/schedule the scope & sequence of state standards and best practices to maintain appropriate pacing of information, and to create full-circle efficiency for cumulative concepts• Successfully differentiate instruction for students from diverse backgrounds by enhancing engagement, incorporating varied strategies, and applying creative solutions to adapt lessons for quickly changing environments • Cultivate optimal student outcomes through clear communication of expectations, active monitoring, 1:1 & group assessment/evaluation, and tracking of both independent/group performance and skill level• Scale student music programs as much as 50% by promoting self-confidence and creative courage in student preparation & performance, for both individual & large group settings• Utilize strong technical skills to problem-solve technology issues involving A/V, live streaming, and others
