This role is a hybrid of two equal parts: creative media strategy and technological innovation, applied to Assembly's top clients: 20th Century Fox, AMC, ETrade, Timberland, Boehringer Ingleheim, Nickelodeon and Chanel.Strategy: Injecting creativity into a client’s media strategy by recognizing emerging media opportunities and conceptualizing big ideas. Then, identifying relevant partners and executing on campaigns by becoming the product owner of those big ideas.Innovation: Providing thought leadership, as well as prototyping and presenting technology driven solutions to current and prospective clients. This includes crafting experiences for conversational interfaces (Amazon Alexa and Google Home), intelligent agents (Chatbots and Brandbots) and IoT activations.

MDC Ventures is a corporate venture capital fund investing in early stage, B2B digital media and marketing tech companies addressing the needs of the Modern CMO. As a Ventures Squad Leader, I’m responsible for helping evaluate the strategic fit of prospective investments, identifying collaboration opportunities with startups across Assembly, mentoring founders, and educating the agency on emerging technology trends. MDC Ventures is the corporate venture arm of global advertising group, MDC Partners [NASDAQ: MDCA].

Lead production teams in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, overseeing scriptwriting, filming, directing and editing of content for both client and internal needs.Conceptualized, directed and produced content marketing campaigns for Initiative’s portfolio of clients, including Charles Schwab, Kia Motors and Unilever.Strategized with IPG’s Media Lab to identify emerging companies and technologies for partnership opportunities with clients.
