I graduated from Webster University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Instrumental Music Education degree and earned my Master of Music Education degree in 2016 from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis. In 2014, I was nominated by my peers as the 2014 Missouri Outstanding Young Music Educator for the St. Louis Metro 8 District. During my time in education, I was a frequent guest clinician at both regional and national conferences, where I presented on topics relating to technology in the music classroom. Conferences presented at include the Missouri Music Educators Association Conference, Missouri Bandmasters Association Summer Convention, Missouri Music Educators Association Mentoring Clinic, and the Focus on Teaching and Technology Conference. Additionally, I served on the Advisory Board of the Missouri Music Educators Association as their Technology Chair.In addition to working in computer programmer, I am an active professional musician and composer. As a composer, I write for concert band and jazz ensemble and have been commissioned by numerous middle school and high school band programs throughout the Greater Saint Louis area. My pieces have been performed across the country, featured on honor band festival programs, and recorded by professional ensembles. Finally, I am the co-owner of C&M Games Inc., an incorporated small business that designs and sells tabletop sports simulation games. Our first release, Pocket Pennant Run, has become a best-selling game in the tabletop sports world, receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews and being featured in a number of magazines and podcasts.
