Oversaw grant research and implementation of individual giving campaigns, such as an annual fund drive and targeted solicitations to community mediation movement “elders”.Successfully collaborated with the Treasurer and Board of Directors to implement a new professional internal financial and accounting system. Setting fiscal goals, preparing budgets, managing finances and reporting the fiscal condition of the organization to the Board. Build a strong membership base of community mediation programs, community-based volunteer mediators, and associate members in conjunction with Membership committee of the NAFCM board of directors and staff.Planed and implemented a National Training Resource Center of publications and resource materials that are relevant to the needs of programs, volunteer mediators, and the public.Promote and support member-member collaborations as well as assist member centers develop more secure funding bases.

Successfully grew the program budget from $300,000 to over $1 million annually. Was the Chair-person for the Resolution Washington’s state-wide legislative committee that was involved in raising over $12 million for conflict resolution in Washington State. Implemented a sustainable entrepreneurial and innovative organizational culture. Oversaw all operations of one of the largest dispute resolution centers in the county. The Center offers mediation, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution training and services throughout the country. The Center provides mediation services in partnership with the courts on a weekly basis and has developed an expertise in family and workplace mediations. The Center has developed a national reputation for designing innovative conflict resolution products including DVD, books, manuals, and customized materials. Finally, the Center has been successful in brining conflict resolution to a number of places that it previously had not been including the prison, securing housing for homeless individuals, and home forelcosure.
