  Engineering leader for the eCommerce digital business, focusing on the creation and build out of a public Shipping API solution hosted in AWS. The platform was developed as a cloud-based REST API library with Portal access offering customers the ability to implement commercial shipping services into their eCommerce business. The API’s are backed by a microservice architecture supporting a rapid development and deployment model. The tech stack leverages many AWS services including Aurora RDS, Mongo, Dynamo, EC2, EKS, Data Pipelines, S3, Lambda to name a few. Responsibilities include:o Providing overall strategic direction and leadership for the program across multiple geographies.o Aligning with the business and product leaders to define strategic priorities and timelines.o Driving design and architecture decisions for the services that power the solution, partnering with business and engineering stakeholders to ensure the deliverables and timelines align with customer needs.o Defining scope and work items for the teams using Agile principles and leveraging Jira to manage the deliverables.
