- Technical lead for initiatives comparing architecture, function, performance, and cost of IBM and competing technologies. - Architect/Developer for J2EE production print management application designed and developed using Rational development tools, DB2, and Websphere Application Server. Implemented using Struts, Tiles, and custom JSP tag libraries. Two patents issued related to this work.- Led design and development of web based asset management & billing J2EE application utilizing Websphere Application Server and DB2. Implemented with a session facade and data transfer objects, the MVC pattern, Struts, and session/entity EJBs.- Architect/Developer for an industry pioneering multi-function kiosk device providing innovative capabilities for enterprise copy, email, fax, forms, badge/smart-card login, and other functions. (IBM Blue Magic)- Programming in Java (J2SE/J2EE) for Windows/LINUX/UNIX and in C++ for Windows using MFC and other MS SDK APIs.- Designed and developed new scanning and image processing architecture to support color processing and to improve quality/performance. Implemented in C++ using EFI image processing libraries, ISIS scanner drivers, and Fujitsu scanners.- Designed and wrote encrypted secure printing and SSL administration features.- Created flexible deployment strategy for print kiosks including installation, upgrades, patches, etc.

- CRM Architect for eConvergent’s eMerge product, a SaaS cloud application providing an integrated suite of CRM applications for multi-channel contact centers (voice, fax, email, web, self-service). - Led a team of developers in the implementation and integration of the E.piphany IP product line into the eMerge application. This included design of application UI, business logic, and database.- Designed and wrote Win32 services using C++, ATL, & COM that functioned as message processing adapters between MQSeries and the business services API provided by the E.piphany CRM applications.

- Architect for a very large, cross-platform (AIX & Windows), client/server (DCE/DFS) implementation. Responsible for providing technical advice and direction to Government customers and for leading IBM technical staff.- Developed architectural changes that led to a successful proposal effort to migrate the USDA Forest Service from HP OpenMail to Lotus Notes and Domino.- Designed methodology and led IBM effort to upgrade USDA systems and applications to AIX 4 and DCE 2.1.- Designed and developed a backup/restore application incorporating the DFS backup system and Sysback/6000.- Performed on-site consulting for Government customer.- Developed Domino workflow application for automating management of engineering change proposals and contract line item databases.- Led IBM team to develop USDA APHIS agency standards for AIX and Windows platforms
