I was proudly responsible for all Virgin Atlantic's customer experience on the ground. This covers all aspects of the airline's award winning ground product including the Limo service, Clubhouses, airport check-in, Upper Class wing and arrivals. As well as the product lead for our existing proposition, the most fulfilling part of my role was working strategically with senior stakeholders across the business to develop new and exciting concepts to enhance the customer journey. Capturing insights from our customers, monitoring the NPS and exploring innovative ideas from outside the industry helped keep the product relevant and loved.

I led a team of excellent procurement professionals to manage the sourcing of all of Virgin Travel Group's global spend on technical goods and services. An extremely broad remit covering on-board Inflight Entertainment solutions, digital platforms, global IT Infrastructure, telephony and networking as well as a vast array of software applications to support the organisation both enterprise wide and airline specific. I also led and advised on major outsource project across the airline including offshore BPO and ITO activities. Working as a true business partner with the airline's senior Executives, I helped to shape the Technology roadmap from a sourcing perspective to ensure we maintained our competitive advantage technologically and provide world class on-board products and services that remain the envy of the industry.
