As a Council Services Manager at West Arnhem Regional Council from Feb 2022 to Apr 2024, I managed the delivery of essential services and programs to the local communities in the remote region of Northern Territory. I have a passion for community development, health and safety, and Indigenous relations, and I use my skills in youth mentoring, communication, and partnership building to foster positive outcomes and engagement. I have recently worked with NLC in policy and compliance, and now with NDIS working as an advisor for the NT region.I have over 34 years of experience in the public and community sectors, having served as a Police Sergeant at Victoria Police, where I supervised and led junior staff, coordinated joint programs for community health and safety, and contributed to a publication on mental health crisis response. I also held managerial roles at Jungarni-Jutiya Indigenous Corporation and Ngaanyatjarra Council Aboriginal Corporation, where I managed finance, advocacy, public assistance, housing, and night patrol programs for Indigenous communities in Western Australia. Additionally, I have a background in comedy and entertainment, having performed and booked acts for CDU Productions for over 12 years.I hold multiple diplomas in leadership and management, government, work health and safety, government investigations, and security risk management from Churchill Education, as well as national medals for service and police service. I am committed to continuous learning and improvement, and I seek to leverage my diverse and extensive expertise to make a positive impact in the council and the communities I serve.
