The Patient Access Systems Specialist serves as the technical expert for all Patient Access Information systems and applications including Meditech Client Server, Passport, RevRunner, Accretive Auto Access and others as needed. The incumbent is responsible for planning, implementation, administration, and maintenance of these systems and serves as the key.

Under the general supervision of the Manager of Patient Access, the Supervisor of Patient Registration oversees day-to-day operations within the Patient Registration department. The incumbent is responsible for staff scheduling, daily assignment of duties, and continuous monitoring of department work output for quality, timeliness, and patient/customer.

Under the general supervision of the Supervisor and/or Manager Patient Access, the Patient Registration Representative serves as the initial contact with patients from infant to geriatric ages and arranges for their orderly registration/admission. The incumbent obtains and collects accurate patient information and ensures patients are aware of hospital.
