Along with representing Beachklub Pankrác as a beach volleyball athlete for 7 years, I have also worked at my home Club in the role of a beach volleyball coach. During this period, I experienced training both children and adults on both non-competitive and competitive levels. Moreover, as a psychology student, I have paid extra attention to the importance of mindset and mental skills and therefore instead of practising over and over particular drills like digging/setting I put more emphasis on the sport’s values and behaviour on and off the court. Additionally, for my bachelor thesis, I have researched the importance of mental toughness in beach volleyball (sports performance) and found that there was a statistically significant difference between the 20 highest ranked male and female athletes (Czech top 100 rankings) and those that ranked 50 and below. This finding indicated that Mental toughness was, in fact, an important factor in terms of that needs further addressing.

During the Winter seasons, I have worked as a snowboard instructor at a local ski-school. At this ski-school I worked with both children and adults, but mostly with children (U10) as that was the most common age for children to start with snowboarding.
