For over 10 years, I worked in communication before making a major career shift towards social anthropology and social research. In the past decade, I have focused on culture, education, urban consumption, progressive fair trade initiatives and agroecology. From 2014 to 2018, I co-founded Associação Preto Café, a collaborative “pay-what-you-want” coffee shop and cultural center in São Paulo, Brazil, where I researched and experimented radical transparency strategies. In 2020, I co-founded Instituto Regenera, and since then we've been working on various projects to democratize access and develop new markets for local organic and agroecological foods in Brazil - especially those produced by family farmers and traditional populations. Currently, we are working on projects to promote local sociobiodiversity foods from the Atlantic Forest and the Amazon.I speak Portuguese, English, Spanish and French.
