I embarked on my journey as a practice nurse in London 1990. This path led to a BSc Honors in Health Studies - Nurse Practitioner Degree by 1998, and an Independent Prescribing qualification in 2006 helped to consolidate my transition to advanced nurse practitioner in primary care.Driven by a passion for teaching and mentoring, I achieved another nursing first, invitation to join the GP trainers cohort (Westminster University)leading to award of PG Cert in Teachers In Primary Care in 2016.I saw the potential for UK nursing profession filling gaps in our healthcare service and over 30 yrs I’ve had several working opportunities to learn and gain patient and financial experience in the private healthcare sector - ranging from hospital to private practice.Self-Employment:2018 marked a pivotal transition to self-employment.
