I am a trusted and experienced team member. I provide crucial support to new teachers, guiding them through their first phase of employment at BCJS. My duties include researching and preparing resources, using various media and methods, organising and maintaining the learning environment to a high level, whilst being part of an effective team and providing effectual and constructive feedback. I have demonstrated my adaptability and integrity in my role, managing changes and implementing school policies whilst maintaining confidentiality both in and out of the workplace, particularly when providing administrative support to the Senior Management Team. I incorporated my role as Bike It Champion, embedding a range of cycling related activities across the school whilst leading a local steering group. By motivating increased participation I was successful in helping the school achieve recognition from the relevant bodies, resulting in us being the third school in the country to achieve the Gold Mark Award from the UK sustainable transport charity Sustrans. This busy role covered full PA duties including compiling and typing correspondence and presentations, recruitment processing, organisation of meetings, diary management and daily responsibility for correspondence, often in the absence of management.
