Managed the Help Desk and Tablet Support at FPRS * supported a network of over 200 External Contractors using a customized, windows-xp based tablet device to record work, capture photos and signatures and transmit completed work order information back to corporate via a cell card.* provided support for a network of over 2000 Merchandisers who used a website to report Time and Attendance* Provided internal support on a variety of Platforms from Windows NT to Windows 7* Responsible for User Account Setup, coordinating ordering of new equipment, etc for new and existing users* Maintained inventory of internal loaner tablets and netbooks for field workers in addition to internal inventory of desktops, laptops and printers* responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all Network printers* Responsible for setup of user voicemail and extensions* responsible for coordinating repairs of tablet devices* Successfully negotiated lower repair prices with vendor resulting in significant cost savings* Responsible for multiple hardware deployment projects including the very successful Rapid Tablet loaner program which was a pool of 12 specialized tablets maintained in state of readiness so that they could be deployed within 12 hours of notice.* Developed custom imaging method for tablet devices which reduced the time required to image and prep a tablet from a full day to less than 1 hour.*

Responsible for day to day operations and maintenance of 80+ HP server environment. Duties included: Proactive Systems monitoring, Backups, Server builds, Hardware and Software troubleshooting, etc Successfully evaluated and implemented the organization’s first proactive Systems Monitoring and Notification System monitoring all aspects of Network Operations including OS state, Network connectivity, Internet connectivity and mission critical server processes and services. Was able to utilize existing server and messaging technology already in place along with in place analog phone lines and modems to create a failsafe notification system coupled with a simple shareware program named ServersAlive to provide a level of real-time 24 hour error reporting which allowed a level of proactive management the company had never had before. We were able to achieve our goal of being aware of issues and resolving them pro actively before the users were aware, minimizing end user downtime.

Supported user base of approximately 300 users in a Windows 2000 AD environment.
